About Juliette

Juliette received her Masters degree in Clinical Counseling from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco. Juliette is registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC #8284), and is now also licensed with Washington Department of Health as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (#LH 61123929).

Juliette is also a certified group fitness facilitator and is in the process of becoming yoga teacher certified. Juliette has a history of working as a teacher in the performance arts as well. She is passionate about combining these interests and expertise in her work with clients and in the curriculum she creates for her holistic wellness programming.

Juliette has worked as a counselor in various mental health clinics and school settings for the past few years, working to help her clients recover and heal from a variety of complex mental health concerns.

Outside of her work, Juliette is very involved with local performing arts communities. Juliette loves to sing and dance and be as creative as possible! She served as Board President for the non-profit, No Mirror Movement from 2016-2020, and continues to volunteer with them working to promote the movement's mission of body confidence and improved self-esteem through dance. Juliette believes that movement and creativity are important aspects to wellness, where she includes these aspects into her therapeutic interventions with clients whenever appropriate.

Juliette enjoys helping raise awareness on important social issues. Juliette has planned and hosted several community events focused on important topics of interest, including eating disorder prevention and awareness, applying the principles of "Health at Every Size" to wellness approaches, sexual assault prevention, Kink/BDSM awareness for clinicians, how to address job interview anxiety, and more.

Juliette served as a fellow for the American Psychological Association in their Services for Transition Age Youth Minority Fellowship Program (2016-2017) due to her commitment to help improve community mental health services for minority populations, specifically for transition age youth, and continues to volunteer within community settings whenever possible.
